We are so excited to get started! Here is a bit of our vision for the future of Northwood Community Center. As we get to know the needs of this community, we may change some of these things to suit those we are serving.

About Operation XCEL
“Promoting eXcellent Communities Education and Leadership”
Operation Xcel offers academic and enrichment programs for youth in kindergarten through middle school. We also offer empowerment and literacy services in specific areas to adults.
Our Mission
Recognizing the need to prepare children differently for success in the 21st century, Operation Xcel provides future-focused after-school, summer, and mentorship programs. We promote academic development and character growth through individual and target-based objectives, with a focus on individual development and achievement.

We are guided by a strong work ethic and a dedication to community betterment. Through our academic and enrichment programs, we demonstrate our commitment to providing equal access to quality educational resources, supporting diversity of thought, to creating a strong foundation for the development of life-long learners, fostering civic engagement, encouraging career mindfulness in our youth

CLOTHING CLOSET
If you or someone you know are in need and seeking free clothing, supplies, or items for children and/or adults, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate.
COMMUNITY MEALS
We look forward to serving FREE community meals on the first Monday of every month from 5pm-7pm. ALL are welcome!!!
WELLNESS SERVICES
Health screenings, financial relief help, disaster relief help, family care needs, medical supply needs.
FOOD PANTRY
It is our goal to provide the Northwood Community with access to free or affordable healthy food options. We are working with partners in our community in hopes of creating a sustainable food pantry for this area.
COMMUNITY MEALS
Free food to feed the community and to encourage togetherness by sharing a meal.
FAMILY FRIENDLY EVENTS
Free family events!
YOUTH PROGRAMS
Activities for youth to participate in after school or on weekends. We hope to offer programs to youth of all ages and backgrounds.
